Level II is designed for experienced blower door technicians to receive certification and be recognized for their years of industry experience and extensive knowledge.
Level II (Blower Door Training Completed) – Track A Requirements
Attend ABAA Blower Door Training Course
Pass the proctored, online, 50 question (if Level I certified) or 250 question (if NOT Level I certified), written exam with an 80% passing rate
Pass the 4-5 hour practical exam
5 Year Blower Door Certification
Level II (Blower Door Training Completed) – Track B Requirements
Attend ABAA Blower Door Training Course
Submit documentation showing 15 large building tests (based on ASTM 779, ASTM 3158, ASTM 1827 or equivalent) within the past 2 years with a minimum enclosure area of 50.000 sq. Ft . Candidate must identify what role or roles were performed by the candidate.
Pass the proctored, online, 50 question (if Level I certified) or 250 question (if NOT Level I certified), written exam with an 80% passing rate
5 Year Blower Door Certification
Level II (Blower Door Training Not Completed) – Track C Requirements
Submit manufacturers training certificate.
