Those who register early will have a better chance of receiving their manual prior to the start of training. Having the manual for the online training modules is not required\, but highly recommended to have before writing the exam. \n\nDESCRIPTION:\nThis course is designed to teach experienced installers how to create an Air Barrier using Self-Adhered and Fluid Applied materials. This course includes instruction on everything from selecting proper materials\, substrate preparation\, application technology and troubleshooting. \nMore Information \n\n\nNot an Installer? \nABAA courses are open to everyone and are a great training opportunity for all\, including General Contractors\, Suppliers\, Manufacturers sales rep\, Architectural Reps\, and anyone in the construction industry. There is NO experience needed to attend one of our great training courses. \n\nInterested in Certification?\nSelf-Adhered and Fluid Applied installer training is designed to teach experienced installers how to create an Air Barrier using Self Adhered and Fluid Applied materials. SUMMARY:ABAA Contractor Webinar: Mock Ups - The "Crash Test Dummy" for Building Enclosure
DESCRIPTION:This presentation will review why enclosures are critical for energy efficiency\, sustainability and durability\, and explain how every building is unique.  We will then review and discuss the advantages/disadvantages of the various types of mock ups\, using examples from actual projects\, along with discussing various industry performance tests and standards typically performed on Functional or tested mock ups. \nThe last part of the presentation will review and provide ideas on how to take the Lessons Learned from the mock and use that information as an on-site training for the tradesmen whom will be installing the enclosure for that project. \nThis webinar is exclusive to the ABAA contractor members.  Please reach out to lhardman@airbarrier.org to register.
