Five Key Considerations for an Effective Enclosure Commissioning Process
September 9, 2021 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EDT
Live webinar sponsored by the Air Barrier Association of America
Building Enclosure Commissioning (BECx) is required and implemented on more projects than ever before. It is widely accepted that an effective BECx program can be used to verify that the owner’s project requirements (OPR) have been achieved. However, without sufficient planning, coordination, or scope, BECx can become diluted and lose value. This presentation reviews the five important components to maximizing the value of BECx.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn key criteria and coordination for development of the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR).
- Identify important review concepts, scheduling, and tracking guidelines for the Basis of Design and design deliverables.
- Understand how the specifications and project testing criteria can be accurately specified.
- Learn best practice process and techniques for field verification.
