Julie Szabo is a Senior Associate with Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc., a global firm of engineers, architects, and material scientists committed to helping clients solve, repair and avoid problems in the built world. She has over 17 years’ experience in building enclosure consulting with expertise in the investigation of enclosure performance issues related to air leakage, water infiltration, thermal performance, and condensation. She provides enclosure consulting and commissioning services on a wide variety of building types including, residential, commercial, institutional, and healthcare projects. Her work starts in the design phase with design peer reviews and continues throughout the construction phase with site verification and field performance testing. Julie actively serves on various Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA) technical committees, is the current co-chair of the ABAA Editorial Review of Technical Documents Task Group, and is the past-Chair of the Building Enclosure Council of Washington, DC.
